Rob's World record - will you sponsor the 100,000 meter race??? |
In 2000, Rob Slocum of Stamford, CT set an Ultra-Marathon World record for rowing 100,000 meters
on an ergometer, in the Individual Men Heavyweight class for age 50-59.
His time was 6 hours, 32 minutes, 45.9 seconds - faster than all age groups
other than the overall World record holder for erging 100,000 metres, set in 1998
by a 30-39 Age category Briton. See
