Womens' Squad
Starting from a small number of experienced rowers, this squad is expected to grow as the season develops, and will also be active in Mixed rowing.

Juniors' Squad
In 2008, for the first time, NLRC took in a small intake of novice juniors, to learn from the more developed rowers. This program has yielded promising results, with the possibility of racing towards the end of the season.

Mixed Rowing
Mixed rowing is often an overlooked area of both racing and crew spirit development. With many scullers in the club, NLRC encourages training and racing at all levels of competition.

Ladders
NLRC maintains its competitive spirit by promoting erg and sculling ladders, this improving fitness and technique.

Land Training
NLRC has linked up with the YMCA Norwalk for land-training facilities. Through a reciprocal arrangement, members can join the Norwalk YMCA and train with their fellow rowers, or train alone at a YMCA nearer their home (for those cold, frosty mornings....).
